Terms & Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions govern the rental of vehicles by Gurosun Georgia (the Company) to the customer (the Renter). By signing the rental agreement, the renter confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted all clauses contained herein.
Authorized Drivers
Only the person who signs the rental agreement is authorized to drive the rented vehicle. An additional driver may be registered if they meet Driver Competence Requirements and pay the applicable fee. Additional drivers must present a valid passport and driver’s license.
The vehicle must not be driven by anyone who:
- Is not listed on the agreement;
- Does not meet age, license validity, or experience requirements;
- Is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other impairing substances.
Driver Competence Requirements
To rent a vehicle, drivers must:
- Be 21 years or older;
- Have at least one year of driving experience.
Driver’s licenses must be in Latin characters. If not, a notarized translation or International Driving Permit (IDP) is required.
Service Locations
Gurosun Georgia operates multiple branches where vehicles may be picked up or returned:
- Tbilisi Downtown & Tbilisi International Airport
- Kutaisi Downtown & Kutaisi International Airport
- Batumi Downtown & Batumi International Airport
Airport pick-up requires flight details and incurs a 25 USD fee.
One-Way Rentals
One-way rentals are allowed between Gurosun Georgia locations. Any changes in the drop-off point must be approved in advance.
Driving Outside Georgia
Driving internationally is permitted only to Turkey and Armenia with a special permit and power of attorney. The document issuance fee is 80 USD.
Vehicle Delivery and Return
Vehicles are delivered clean, with a full fuel tank and in proper working condition. The renter signs a Pick-Up Form upon receipt.
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location in the same condition, with all accessories and documents.
- Late returns: over 1 hour = half-day fee, over 2 hours = full-day fee;
- Fuel shortages are charged per liter;
- Cleaning fees may apply if the car is returned dirty.
Vehicle Use & Restrictions
Vehicles must be used responsibly and in accordance with registration and safety rules. Unauthorized use includes:
- Criminal or illegal activity
- Sub-leasing
- Driving lessons or training
- Racing or high-speed competitions
- Transporting animals without authorization
Note: Pet transport requires pre-authorization from Gurosun Georgia and use of a proper carrier. Any interior damage caused by animals must be compensated by the renter.
Payment & Deposits
Renters authorize Gurosun Georgia to charge for:
- Rental fees
- Security deposits
- Fuel top-ups if applicable
Payment methods include Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx), Bank Transfer, or Cash (GEL). Deposits are refunded after vehicle inspection, subject to bank processing times.
Insurance
Vehicles include a standard CASCO insurance package:
- CDW – Collision Damage Waiver
- TPL – Third-Party Liability
- TP – Theft Protection
Insurance costs are included in the rental price.
Customer Property
Gurosun Georgia is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle. Please check all compartments before return.
Accidents, Theft & Damage Reporting
In case of an accident, theft, or damage, the renter must immediately:
- Stop the vehicle and do not move it
- Contact police, Gurosun, and insurance immediately
- Submit all documentation at return
Failure to comply makes the renter liable for all damages. All keys, documents, and remotes must be kept safe.
Traffic & Parking Fines
All fines incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility. If Gurosun pays fines on behalf of the renter, repayment is required with any applicable administrative fees. Copies of documents are available upon request.
Privacy
By renting, the renter consents to the processing of personal data for operational, legal, and statistical purposes. Data may be shared with authorities in case of legal obligations or contract violations.
Validity & Governing Law
Gurosun Georgia may update these Terms at any time. Disputes should be settled between parties or, if unresolved, referred to the Supreme Court of Georgia, in accordance with Georgian law.
